The eyelash extensions last as long as your natural eyelashes. Each of us has a natural growth phase, which means that we lose around 3-5 natural eyelashes per day and a new eyelash grows back. This completely natural cycle is not so noticeable to us without extensions, as our natural eyelashes are usually very light and fine. With the natural growth cycle, the extensions also fall out. Therefore, regular refills are necessary every 2 to 4 weeks. 

For the first 24 hours it is important that you do not get any water on your eyelashes and that you also avoid sauna and exercise. Basically, you should avoid using oil-based products on your eyelashes and only use eyeliners that are suitable for eyelash extensions. It is also important that you wash your eyelashes with a special eyelash shampoo. Because your eyelashes are there to protect your eyes from dirt and debris. Due to the high density of the extensions, these deposits now collect between the fine eyelash extensions. The eyelash shampoo ensures that your eyelashes are clean and that no bacteria can multiply. In addition, the eyelash shampoo increases the durability of your eyelash extensions. 

No, it varies a lot and depends on many different factors. Hormone fluctuations, taking medication or even dietary changes all play a role here. However, the natural growth cycle is not always exactly the same either. Therefore, it sometimes happens that you come to the refill after 3 weeks and have hardly lost anything, while afterwards you have already lost more after 2 weeks. As lash stylists, we can assess the whole thing, but of course, we cannot guarantee how many eyelashes will fall out by the next appointment. 

Of course, this depends on your desired look and the number of natural eyelashes you have. For the first appointment, however, you should always expect about 2 hours and 15 minutes, while we are usually done after 1 hour 15 minutes for a refill. Nevertheless, it is better to plan a little more time so that we can always work out your look perfectly. 

Please do not dye your eyelashes 48 hours before eyelash extensions. It would also be good if you could come to us without mascara and contact lenses. If that is not possible, for example, because you come straight from work, it is of course not a problem. Of course, we have make-up removers on site, as well as saline solution for your contact lenses.

First of all, all of our products, and especially adhesives, are very sensitive and made in Germany. Despite all of this, a reaction can of course occur at any time. Fortunately, it does not mean that you react permanently to the adhesive, but that such an “allergy” can also disappear again. If you have already reacted to eyelash glue, we carry out a kind of “test” before the actual application (as we are not doctors, we avoid the word allergy as much as possible) and glue approx. 5 to 10 eyelashes to each eye. We use two different adhesives for this. Once our standard eyelash glue and once our innovative glue, which is then sealed by a bonder. This ensures that the adhesive hardens immediately and the vapors of the adhesive can be washed off the eye area immediately. For this we charge € 35, which you will credit when booking a new application (if everything is good and your eyes have tolerated everything well). 

There’s a loud no here, from us. We already explained the myth that your natural eyelashes fall out due to eyelash extensions in the first question about durability. It is completely normal for natural eyelashes to fall out. What should never happen is that your natural eyelashes break off. That is why we always make sure that we lengthen your eyelashes a maximum of 1/3 and always use fine extensions. Because your natural eyelash must always be able to withstand the weight of the eyelash extensions. In addition, we only work with adhesives that have a high level of flexibility – because the natural lashes can break off if the adhesive is too hard. And now let’s be honest: We don’t get any benefit if you only have half of your natural eyelashes after your 4th visit. We want to beautify your natural eyelashes and not destroy them. 

This is not a problem. We will look at your natural eyelashes on site and show you the different extensions and the different options for eyelash extensions beforehand. In addition, we can change the look and design at any time according to your wishes. It is important to us to conjure up an individual, customized eyelash extension that you feel comfortable with. 

Can I help determine the length of the extensions and how many lengths are there? 

Basically we have lengths from 6mm to 15mm in the studio. We usually work with 5 different lengths on your eye. To perfectly highlight your eye shape. Of course, you can express your wishes, but we always make sure that we do not extend more than 1/3. This is the only way we can guarantee you optimal durability and healthy natural eyelashes.
